Daily gentle yoga and breathing practices will align us for the physical work of acclimating to higher altitude conditions and will prepare our bodies for hiking through some of the local Incan archaeological sites.
*This trip is ideal if you are in good condition and strength in your legs and knees as we will be able to explore local sites that require lots of steps up and down on uneven terrain and with significant altitude ranging from 9000-11000 feet. Training on a stair climber for at least 20 minutes per session 2-3x per week for 6 months will prepare your lungs and your legs for handling the terrain with more confidence. If you have significant knee injuries or challenges with altitude, you can still enjoy the archeological sites and rest while the group explores the harder to reach areas.
Accommodations in the Sacred Valley and Cusco are fully provided along with most meals and all entrance fees are covered to all archaeological sites as well as guides and train rides. Airport transfer from Cusco to our hotel in Urubamba included along with airport transfer back to Cusco from Aguas Calientes.

The ancient magic of the Andean mountains will ground you and provide an anchor for your inner and outer work providing a container to help you to release the heaviness that you carry and will support your mental and emotional well being. The local Qero culture is deep and rooted in Earth based rituals that are meant to be practiced by anyone and provides support in both personal rituals for meditation and community rituals for protecting and loving the Earth.
Nature based rituals will be practiced in each sacred site which will connect you to the land and your ancestors in a deeply embodied way. The entire Sacred valley and mountains that cradle it are infused with massive quantities of quartz and other semi precious stones along with gold which amplifies the energy of your intentions and any energetic work that you do while you are there which also helps facilitate better detox on a physical, psychic and emotional level.
We will receive Andean ceremonies for good health and abundance as well as a cacao ceremony rooting us to the land and our life’s work with sweetness and clarity. Excursions off of the property each day will take us into the local communities of P’isaq and Moray to explore ruins and agricultural wonders of the terraces used to harness the power of micro climates in growing conditions at 10000 feet. Hiking is varied in each location to difficulty degree and will also provide some physical endurance training in resetting our nervous systems to manage physical stress more effectively while intentionally releasing energy at peak moments of the day.
The grand finale of the trip leads us to the majestic peaks of Machu Picchu having two days to properly explore the site while staying in the portal town of Aguas Calientes before we make the return journey back home.
